The Society maintains close links with European groups and worldwide organisations to promote the international development of the profession and its contribution to world health programmes.
The Society represents the profession on a number of bodies that are helping shape the future of pharmacy in Europe.
These include the EU Pharmacy Group, the EU Industrial Pharmacists Group, the EU Advisory Committee on Pharmaceutical Education and Training, and the WHO Europharm Forum.
The Society maintains close links with worldwide organisations such as the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) and the World Health Organisation (WHO). The Commonwealth Pharmaceutical Association is open to any society or association representative of all pharmacists in a Commonwealth country. There is also a personal membership category open to any pharmacist eligible to practise in a Commonwealth country.
