The Welsh Directorate is supported by five staff. The Director for Wales, the Office & Facilities Manager, the Health Policy Analyst & Support Officer and the Clerical Assistant work full-time and are based in Cardiff. In addition, professional assistance is provided by a Principal Policy Advisor (three days a week).
The Cardiff office works closely with other Royal Pharmaceutical Society staff in London and Edinburgh.

Key responsibilities: Strategic leadersip and support for pharmacy practice development in Wales; Development and implemntation of Council policy; Supporting pharmacists in their professional roles; Providing professional advice to government and its agencies, NHS bodies and other health and social care organisations in Wales.

Health Policy Analyst &
Membership Support Officer

Key responsibilities: Through the use of evidence gathering and research on health and social care, pharmacy practice and policy development, support the work of the Welsh Directorate in their role in leading and supporting members of the pharmacy team in Wales.
