The Welsh Directorate is based in Wales for one very good and simple reason: to be within reach of members in Wales. We hope that we are seen to be accessible and have an 'open-door' policy. We mean that quite literally! We would encourage members to visit us - whether with a specific agenda - or simply to share your work, views and aspirations for the future. It is our intention to be a national point of contact and central resource for members in Wales.
In addition to supporting professional development in Wales the Welsh Pharmacy Board has a role in promotion of the profession in a wider arena.
The Board is working hard at building new relationships and strengthening existing ones within a strategic public affairs and public relations programme. This involves briefing a broad cross-section of individuals and organisations at all levels including politicians, opinion formers and the public. The Board works to encourage discussion and collaboration on key Welsh national health policy issues.
