The ethos behind PDGs is that they are essentially grass-roots, free-standing groups of interested and committed pharmacists from various areas of pharmacy practice who liaise and work together locally. The intention is to harness the enthusiasm and expertise of pharmacists in various aspects of pharmacy practice to take the profession forward within the LHB (Local Health Board) boundary.
Individual or groups of pharmacists are encouraged to join their local PDG, or if there isn't one to get involved in starting one.
