The Society has membership groups for community pharmacists, hospital pharmacists, industrial pharmacists and veterinary pharmacists. There is also a special interest group for pharmacy academic staff.
The groups hold meetings on topics of interest within their own fields, and provide a source of advice to the Society's Council on specialist matters.
Each group is administered by a committee. Most committee members are elected by the group; the remainder are members of the Society's Council. Each committee is supported by a professional secretary and an administrator.
All RPSGB registered pharmacists are entitled to join any of the groups.
