The Overseas Pharmacists Assessment Programme (OSPAP) is accredited by the Society, and is designed to ensure that persons who successfully complete the programme obtain an adequate level of knowledge and understanding of pharmacy and its practice to enable them to commence preregistration training in Great Britain.

Please note that holders of pharmacy qualifications can only apply to join the OSPAP if they are registered or eligible to register as pharmacists in their country of qualification.

Persons who have successfully completed the OSPAP must then complete pre-registration training approved by the Society, and pass the Society's registration examination, before they can apply to join the Register.

Persons wishing to join the OSPAP must apply using the information pack below:

The application will be considered by the Society's Adjudicating Committee. Some applicants to join the OSPAP may be invited for an interview with the Adjudicating Committee before the Committee makes its decision (for further details on this please refer to the information pack).
