The Museum is unable to lend individual items from its collections except for display or research under secure, environmentally controlled conditions in other museums or similar institutions.

However, two attractive showcases with an interesting range of traditional pharmacy equipment are available for more general use. The showcases have been designed and built for travelling and are available on loan for temporary exhibition in a variety of locations. Each case holds an interesting group of pharmacy items from the 19th and early 20th centuries.
Since the service was launched in 1996, they have been used with great success in retail premises and health centres, as part of hospital open days, and in both medical and general interest museums and libraries. They would also be very suitable for use in schools and other education centres.
