The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain moved to its present site in Lambeth in 1976. It was by pure coincidence that there is so much history connected with pharmacy in the area.

The Museum has developed a number of resources to help you to find out about Lambeth’s links with pharmacy:

For group visits, we can offer guided Lambeth pharmacy walks (charge applies). We also offer an object handling session which allows you to get up close to some of the collections that illustrate to Lambeth’s pharmacy past. If would like to book either of these sessions, please contact us.

The image above, those used in the Lambeth pharmacy walk guide and the Lambeth's pharmacy past display case are all reproduced with kind permission of Lambeth Archives. To see more of their important collection of local images click here.
