Preregistration training is the period of employment that a person must undertake and successfully complete before they can register as a pharmacist in Great Britain. In most cases it is a one-year period following the pharmacy degree; for sandwich course students it is integrated with their undergraduate studies.

This part of the website deals specifically with preregistration training for either UK graduates holding an MPharm degree or overseas pharmacy graduates holding an Overseas Pharmacists' Assessment Programme (OSPAP) postgraduate diploma or UK MPharm sandwich course students. If you are seeking to register in Great Britain are a pharmacist from overseas, please contact the Overseas Division.
